Joker
This movie was released in 2019 and became a great hit amongst the population. A character in the film works a day job as a joker, dealt with mental disorders such as schizophrenia, depression, and mania.

American
Psycho
American Psycho was released in 2000 and became a very popular movie in America. It follows the life of a New York City investment banker and how he leads a second life at night, as a serial killer. The movie deals with psychopathic personalities, antisocial personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder.
3.
Euphoria
Euphoria is a popular 2019 drama tv show in which the audience is taken to see how the lives of high schoolers play out. The teenagers navigate mental illness such as depression, OCD, and bipolar disorder, but also drug addiction and other difficulties.

Split
Split is a 2016 thriller that displays DID/Multiple Personality Disorder. The movie follows the main character and his 23 personalities. The movie then continues to show how some personalities are more stronger than other and and how they contribute to the kidnappings of the girls.
Our Goal
As our senior experience we chose to analyze psychology in the media such as movies and television. We also wanted to make the knowledge we found more accessible and also inspire other students to dive into the world of psychology.
